17th ICA-AP Regional Assembly

The Regional Assembly is the highest governing body of ICA Asia and Pacific, bringing together all members to shape policy, discuss cooperative development, and build partnerships. It promotes democratic governance and collaboration across the region.
The 17th Regional Assembly will take place at Cinnamon Lakeside in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from 24 to 28 November 2025, hosted by the National Council of Cooperatives in Sri Lanka (NCCSL), in collaboration with the Department of Co-operative Development (DCD), SANASA Federation Limited, and Matara District Cooperative Hospital Society Ltd.

12th Asia-Pacific Cooperative Forum
26 November 2025
Established in 2000, the Forum is a biennial event held alongside the ICA-AP Regional Assembly. It brings stakeholders together to review progress, address challenges, and strengthen cooperatives as engines of sustainable development.

Committee Events
25 November 2025
ICA-AP has eight thematic and sectoral committees that convene their annual statutory meetings and side events alongside the Regional Assembly. These are focused spaces for members to engage with key agendas, exchange insights, and contribute to the broader Assembly theme.

Board Elections
27 November 2025
The Regional Assembly elects a Regional Board of 11 persons comprising a Chairperson, two Vice Chairpersons, and eight Members for a four-year term.
