Pankaj Kumar Bansal is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1997 batch (Tamil Nadu cadre). He is the Managing Director of the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) and serves as Additional Secretary in the Union Ministry of Cooperation. He assumed charge as MD of NCDC in May 2022, succeeding Sundeep Nayak. He also serves as Chairman of the Network for the Development of Agricultural Cooperatives in Asia and the Pacific (NEDAC), where he plays a key role in strengthening agricultural cooperatives across the region.
