Ms. Ingrid Colanero

Head of International Cooperation, ICA

Ingrid Colanero is the Head of Development Cooperation at the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA), where she leads an EU co funded global programme connecting cooperatives with international development and multilateral partners, enhancing their people strengths and skills. With extensive experience in humanitarian aid and EU relations, she has managed institutional and locally led partnerships across regions. Before joining ICA, Ingrid worked with child rights organisations such as World Vision International and Plan International among the others, before making Brussels her home, she worked in The occupied Palestinian territories, South Sudan, Ghana. She holds a master’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic from La Sapienza University of Rome. At the ICA she makes sure cooperatives are an EU priority  for international cooperation and strive to support while learning from her cooperators colleagues across regions.
