A physician by training, he leads work on social protection, gender equality, and the inclusion of persons with disabilities, older persons, youth, and migrants. He has held key leadership roles at the UN, including in capacity development, partnerships, social policy, ageing, migration, and health, and previously served as Deputy Chief of the Regional Commissions\u2019 New York Office.
