In line with the United Nations theme for International Women's Day 2024, the International Cooperative Alliance- Asia and Pacific Committee on Youth Cooperation (ICYC) is proud to announce an online forum on Inspire Inclusion- International Forum on Youth and Women Cooperatives to celebrate the Women's Day under the theme "Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress". This year's focus is on advancing women's economic empowerment in the cooperative sector, recognizing the transformative impact women can have on the growth of cooperatives. The Forum aims to highlight the important role of youth and women in cooperatives.

The forum will feature speakers from the movement who will provide insights into the challenges faced by women in the cooperative sector and showcase success stories of women and youth who have made significant contributions to cooperative development. It will highlight the positive outcomes that result from women’s active engagement in economic activities.

The ICYC’s goal is to inspire a new wave of cooperative initiatives that prioritize and amplify the voices of women and youth, creating a more just and prosperous future for all.
