ICA Asia and Pacific Regional Office is pleased to announce the launch of the ICA Asia-Pacific Cooperative Excellence Awards.
These awards have been established to honour outstanding individuals, cooperative organizations, and government ministries/ departments that have made remarkable contributions to the growth of cooperatives and have significantly benefited the cooperative movement.
By acknowledging the extraordinary efforts and achievements of these exceptional entities, the ICA Asia-Pacific Cooperative Excellence Awards aim to foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the cooperative sector.
The awards will be presented in three distinct categories: Inspirational Cooperative Leader Award, Enterprising Cooperative Award, and Enabling Government Award.
The winners will be announced at the 16th ICA-AP Regional Assembly Welcome Dinner on November 8, 2023 in Manila, Philippines.
ICA Asia and Pacific Regional Office invites nominations from cooperative organizations (primary cooperatives that are either members of or are endorsed by ICA-AP members), outstanding individuals (of ICA-AP member organizations and those of their member organizations and affiliates), and government ministries/ departments (from ICA-AP member countries) across the Asia-Pacific region.
The nomination applications should elaborate upon and share specific examples of the nominee’s achievements as per the judging criteria for each category. The applications should justify why the nominee deserves the award.
All entries must be submitted online to ICA-AP Regional Office latest by September 10, 2023.
The selection process for the ICA Asia-Pacific Cooperative Excellence Awards will be rigorous and transparent, ensuring that deserving individuals, cooperative organizations, and government ministries/ departments receive the recognition they truly deserve. A distinguished Review Committee of experts and leaders from the cooperative sector will be responsible for evaluating the nominations and selecting the winners.
