The President of ANGKASA, also the Vice-President of ICA-AP, Datuk Seri Dr. Abdul Fattah Abdullah had been bestowed with Federal Territory Orders of Merit, Star & Medal (DKBPWP), the Seri Mahkota Wilayah. This special conferment was awarded by the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah (His Majesty, the King) bearing the title ‘Datuk Seri’ to honorary recipients.

The Federal Territory Orders Degree, also known as the Federal Territory Honorable Degree of The Crown, was established in 2008 to appreciate and recognize the contribution of citizens in the development and advancement of the Territory as well as their excellent service in various fields. It consists of 7 different orders of precedence and titles and the ceremony for awarding the Orders Degree is held on the 1 February every year in conjunction with the Federal Territory Day.

On 8 February 2022, Datuk Seri Dr. Abdul Fattah Abdullah was awarded the title along with 14 other honorary recipients of Seri Mahkota Wilayah this year at the Istana Negara (the National Palace). While the conferment is for his excellent service to the Federal Territory, Datuk Seri Dr. Abdul Fattah Abdullah dedicated the honour as a recognition to the Malaysian cooperative movement. The honorary Order brings greater motivation for Datuk Seri Dr. Abdul Fattah to continue his commitment and enthusiasm in the development of the cooperative movement.
