25 - Secretaries/ Director Generals of the Ministeries Inharge of Co-operatives from following 19 Countries in the Asia Pacific Region of ICA:

Afghanistan, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Korea, Kuwait, Laos, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.

60 - Leaders and Chief Executives of the ICA Asia Pacific Member Organization from following countries:

China (4 persons), India (20 persons), Indonesia (4 persons), Iran (6 persons), Japan (1 person), Korea (2 persons), Kuwait (2 persons), Malaysia (4 persons), Myanmar (2 persons), Nepal (1 person), Pakistan (2 persons), Philippines (1 person), Singapore (2 persons), Sri Lanka (6 persons), Thailand (2 members), Vietnam (4 persons).

Expected number of participants from potential countries in the GCC Region - 15

Local number of participants from UAE – 25

31 May 2008:

Arrival of the Participants:

Hotel for one night to be suggested and identified for the delegates arriving at Dubai

Delegates arriving at Abu Dhabi will stay at Armed Forces Officers Club, Abu Dhabi

Registration at the Club – 3 pm to 7 pm

1st June 2008

Delegates arriving at Dubai and staying overnight will be brought to Abu Dhabi by road starting at 9 am and ICA Asia Pacific will arrange a visit to Co-operative Consumer Store on way to Abu Dhabi.

Registration at the venue of the conference –3 pm to 5 pm

Informal Consultations among the participants staying at the Officers’ Club – 9 am to 3 pm
