The Nepal Federation of Savings and Credit Cooperatives Union (NEFSCUN) from Nepal joined ICA in March. NEFSCUN is the member-based national apex organization of Savings and Credit Cooperative Societies (SACCOS and credit unions) and their District Unions (DUs).

It is committed to the development, promotion and strengthening of its member organizations through supporting SACCOS and DUs in their aim to contribute to the upliftment of financial, social and cultural aspirations of individual members of the respective community by following the international credit union principles.

NEFSCUN has reached 76 districts and covered 3.53 Million individuals into the financial mainstream. It provides cooperatives management training for more than 20,000 leaders and staffs every year and supports in promoting formal finance access to the poor and manage their cooperatives locally with global tools and techniques.

The ICA-AP now has 112 member organisations across 29 countries.
