Cooperatives Take Their Products to Shanghai as the ICA-AP Trade and Business Committee Joins the 9th China International Import Expo 2026

The ICA-AP Trade and Business Committee is participating in the 9th China International Import Expo (CIIE) 2026, alongside the International Cooperative Exhibition and Capacity Building Training Programme on Digital Trade for Cooperatives, taking place at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), Shanghai, China, from 5 to 10 November 2026.

The programme is organized by the All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives (ACFSMC), an active member of the ICA-AP Trade and Business Committee, as part of its continued efforts to strengthen international cooperative trade and business collaboration.

Now in its ninth edition, CIIE is the world’s first national-level import-themed exhibition and one of the largest international trade fairs. It provides a valuable platform for cooperatives to showcase their products and services, establish business connections, explore market opportunities in China and strengthen their participation in regional and global value chains.

This year, the Committee brings together seven member organizations from the Asia-Pacific region and beyond to take part in the International Cooperative Exhibition: the Federation of People’s Sustainable Development Cooperative (FPSDC), Philippines; the Malaysian National Co-operative Movement (ANGKASA), Malaysia; Saigon Union of Trading Co-operatives (Saigon Co.op), Vietnam; the Iran Chamber of Cooperatives (ICC), Iran; the National Cooperative Council of Sri Lanka (NCCSL), Sri Lanka; Bayyouda Agricultural Cooperative, Jordan; and the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI), India.

In addition to the exhibition, the programme features a Capacity Building Training Programme on Digital Trade for Cooperatives, focusing on digital trade, e-commerce and opportunities to enhance cooperatives’ access to the Chinese market. Through this participation, the ICA-AP Trade and Business Committee aims to strengthen connections among member organizations, promote cooperative products and services internationally, and create opportunities for potential Coop-to-Coop (C2C) trade and business partnerships. The Committee warmly invites visitors, trade representatives and cooperative organizations to visit the participating cooperatives’ exhibition booths at NECC Shanghai and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
