The International Cooperative Alliance Asia and Pacific (ICA-AP) will convene the Third Asia Pacific Cooperative Registrars’ Forum from 20 to 23 April 2027 in Polgolla, Sri Lanka, under the theme “Beyond IYC 2025: Advancing Enabling Legal and Policy Frameworks for Cooperatives in the Decade Ahead.” The Forum, hosted by the National Institute of Cooperative Development (NICD, Sri Lanka), will bring together cooperative regulators, public authorities, cooperative leaders, and development partners to exchange experiences and strengthen enabling environments for cooperatives. 

 

Building on the momentum of the International Year of Cooperatives 2025 and significant legislative and policy developments across the region, the Forum will foster dialogue, peer learning, and collaboration towards resilient and sustainable cooperative development.
