Established in 2013, the Malaysia Business Office (MBO) facilitates trade linkages among cooperatives in the Asia-Pacific region. Supported administratively by ANGKASA, the MBO serves as a platform to enhance business interactions and exchanges among consumer cooperatives, insurance and banking cooperatives. It focuses on promoting cooperative trade, fair trade initiatives, and B-to-B trade platforms. Additionally, the MBO facilitates technical exchanges in IT technology, knowledge transfer in resource recycling and renewable energy, and fosters cultural exchanges among youth cooperators across the region.

Seconded staff from ICA member organizations such as the All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives (ACFSMC), the Japanese Consumer Cooperative Union (JCCU), and the National Agriculture Cooperative Federation (NACF) of Korea support the functioning of MBO.
