International Seminar: Celebrating IYC 2025 in Indonesia

INKUR FEDERATION OF INDONESIA, member of the ICA, in partnership with CUCO-Indonesia, PusKhat, and the Keling Kumang Technology Institute, will be organizing an International Seminar celebrating the International Year of Cooperatives 2025 with the theme: “Social Conglomeration of Multi-Sector Co-operatives through Spin Outs and differentiation”.

ICA-AP joins INKUR in promoting the Event that will take place in West Borneo (Kalimantan), Indonesia, from 17-22 June 2025. The event will comprise a two-day seminar (18-19 June) and a two-day (20-21 June) field exposure to real sector cooperatives in West Kalimantan, which are modeled after the social conglomeration model of Mondragon and Japanese Consumer Cooperatives’ Union (JCCU).  This event will feature inspiring speakers from Spain (Mondragon) and Japan (Japan Cooperative Alliance and JCCU).

The registration fee for delegates of ICA members from Asia-Pacific is USD 450 per delegate, and for non-members (research institutions, universities, etc), it is USD 500 per delegate. The fee covers all costs of accommodation, meals, field exposure, and other local arrangements. The main event will be held at the Golden Tulip Hotel in the well-known Equatorial City of Pontianak, which can be reached easily via Jakarta or Kuala Lumpur.
