New Member: Mulkanoor Cooperative Rural Credit & Marketing Society

We are pleased to welcome Mulkanoor Cooperative Rural Credit & Marketing Society Ltd from India as a new Associate Member.

Established through the collective efforts of dedicated farmers, the cooperative was founded with the vision of improving the socio-economic conditions of farming communities in the region. Beginning with 373 members and modest share capital, the society has grown into a thriving cooperative with 7,650 members and 115 employees.

Today, the cooperative provides a wide range of integrated services to its farmer members, including financial services such as credit, savings, and insurance; agricultural input and extension services supported by technical experts; agri-produce procurement, value addition, and marketing; consumer services; and welfare and social development initiatives. In 2025, the cooperative recorded a revenue of INR 1.85 billion (approximately EUR 17.1 million).

Through its membership, the cooperative aims to share its grassroots experiences and best practices with the global cooperative movement while learning from international expertise in cooperative governance, management, and technological innovation for both cooperative operations and farm-level development.
