Call for Articles: COOP Dialogue Issue 11 Explores the Future of Inclusive Finance
The International Cooperative Alliance – Asia and Pacific (ICA-AP) invites researchers, practitioners, policymakers, cooperative leaders, and development professionals to contribute to the 11th issue of COOP Dialogue (CD 11), themed “Reimagining Inclusive Finance through Cooperative Models.”
Cooperative financial institutions, including credit cooperatives, savings and credit unions, cooperative banks, thrift societies, and mutual financial systems, have long played a critical role in advancing financial inclusion and strengthening local economies across the Asia-Pacific region. As technology, regulatory frameworks, climate risks, and member expectations continue to evolve, these institutions are finding innovative ways to remain relevant while upholding cooperative values and principles.
CD 11 will examine how cooperative finance is adapting to these changing realities through digital transformation, improved governance, risk management, financial literacy initiatives, fintech partnerships, climate-resilient finance, and youth-focused financial products and services. Through case studies, policy analyses, research papers, interviews, and practitioner perspectives, the issue aims to highlight diverse experiences and emerging trends from across the region.
ICA-AP welcomes contributions in various formats, including analytical articles, case studies, interviews, and reflective pieces that explore how cooperative models can shape a more inclusive and resilient financial future.
