Discussion Draft 3 of the Revised Cooperative Identity Statement Open for Comments
The global conversation on the future of the Cooperative Identity continues with the release of Discussion Draft 3 of the proposed revisions to the ICA Statement on the Cooperative Identity. Building on feedback received during previous consultation rounds, the latest draft reflects the collective insights of cooperators from around the world and marks another important step in shaping the movement’s shared identity.
ICA members, regions, sectoral organisations, thematic committees, and all interested cooperators are encouraged to review the draft, discuss it within their organisations, and share their perspectives. This is an opportunity to help shape a statement that will guide the cooperative movement for years to come while remaining rooted in its enduring values and principles.
To further encourage dialogue, ICA-AP will organize Coop Colloquium 18, focusing on Discussion Draft 3, providing a platform for cooperative leaders, practitioners, researchers, and members to deliberate on the proposed revisions and contribute to the ongoing consultation.
